My signature in art is ONA
I was fortunate to have Ana Ruxandra Ilfoveanu as my mentor from an early age, until the last years of university, but I was never interested in becoming a known artist. Art has been just the opportunity to express myself and learn constantly new skills which now are a very important part of my daily creative process. I always try to integrate elements created by hand (drawing, painting, illustration) in as many branding projects as I can (web design, packaging, visual identity, or other) if there is a use for it. Sometimes when I create I tap into something deep, meaningful and unique. I can connect with a place that doesn’t need for any clarification. I am just “there” and doing “that”. I found out that people call this state of mind “flow”, a sort of meditation.

I like to explore new ways of making beautiful things, using various techniques from traditional art (drawing, painting, calligraphy, lettering, illustration, engraving, modeling, collage, etc.) to mixed media or sometimes, multimedia. My favorite techniques are watercolor, ink, acrylic art and clay modeling.
