REBRANDING
INOVO MOBILI
From Modular Boutique to High-End Custom Furniture Brand
Category: Furniture Retail / Home Furnishings. Sub-category: Custom / Made-to-Order Furniture (High-End). Market: Romania
The Challenge
Inovo Mobili began as a modular furniture boutique, offering practical, accessible pieces in a style similar to IKEA. As the business grew, the company evolved into a manufacturer of custom and high-end furniture. The existing brand identity no longer matched this new direction or the ambition to dominate a specific high-value segment of the Romanian market. A complete repositioning was required to reflect the transformation and support long-term growth.
The Solution
We led a full rebranding and repositioning program over a focused 6-month development phase. The scope of work included: brand strategy for repositioning, complete brand creation, visual identity manual and collaterals, brand communication development, web design and programming of a virtual catalog, consulting for the organization of the showroom launch event, business development advisory, employer branding.
Following the 6-month brand development, the new identity and strategy were rolled out consistently over the next three years across all touchpoints, from digital presence and communication to physical showrooms and internal culture.
The Results
Three years after launch, Inovo Mobili successfully secured the targeted market position in Romania. The brand is now recognized as a high-end custom furniture specialist. This growth is marked by the opening of the company’s fourth showroom in Bucharest, a clear indicator of commercial success and strengthened market presence.
“Before the rebranding we were known as a modular furniture boutique. Simona helped us completely reposition and rebuild the brand for the high-end custom furniture market we wanted to conquer in Romania. After six months of intense work and three years of consistent implementation, we have successfully claimed our place in that segment, and we’ve just opened our fourth showroom in Bucharest. The results speak for themselves.”

Frequently Asked Questions
I use AI throughout my entire workflow, from research, programming, and initial idea sketches to solving technical problems and other non-creative tasks.
When it comes to creative work like text, images, video, or sound, I try to stay true to my own style and vision. At the same time, I’m also experimenting with my own concepts in this field, though I haven’t found a fully satisfying outcome yet.
Branding or Rebranding should begin with the following mental note: it is not a cost, but an investment. One that, if done correctly, will generate exponential revenues over the lifetime of your business.
When it comes to branding, the answer to these questions (as with other aspects of business, for that matter) is “it depends.”
A small business with ten employees and a customer base limited to a 40 km radius needs a completely different rebranding solution than a Top 300 company with 100,000 employees that is expanding globally.
Most small and medium-sized businesses invest between €5,000 and €15,000 in a branding or rebranding process.
Execution can take 3–6 months, while implementation typically lasts 6-24 months.
It begins with a focused 15-minute discovery call, just enough time for both sides to see if we’re a genuine match.
If we are, you’ll receive a clear proposal. Once approved and the contract is signed, we move directly into strategy, the foundation of every engagement. From there, the process is tailored specifically to your project.
Yes. I do not work with businesses that operate, or intend to operate, unethically. In addition, I deliberately avoid the following categories:
- Big Pharma & medical
- Ultra-processed foods & drinks
- Betting & casino
- Videochat & adult
- Any Faith & religion
These boundaries allow me to focus exclusively on projects that align with my values and professional standards.
Yes, my role is limited to analyzing and crafting strategies for any Paid Media, Social Media, and Influencers.
The implementation can be managed by a third party, which I’m happy to oversee if needed.
The first and most important step is always strategy.
Before any creative work begins, I conduct thorough research and fully immerse myself in your business model. This includes a deep analysis of your target market and a clear mapping of both direct and indirect competitors.
This research-driven approach ensures that every subsequent decision is grounded in reality and aligned with your business objectives, delivering the strongest foundation for our work together.
The fastest way is to book the 15-minute discovery call. It is necessary to have a concrete list of your needs or urgencies.
Be prepared to take into account that I usually start with a brand strategy as the first step in any new project, so that I can put everything in order for the next steps and our long-term collaboration.
